In one line: The best moat found anywhere in the search, at 23× EBIT and a 2.3% free cash flow yield, with the balance-sheet fortress spent and the dividend cut 42%.
Nothing here is a criticism of the business. Gross margin has been flat between 72.6% and 73.4% for four years, which is what zero pricing pressure looks like. Capital expenditure was SEK 3.6m against SEK 1.5bn of revenue — about as capital-light as commerce gets, which is why return on capital is 66%. It holds a 68% brand-of-choice rating among European paediatricians backed by roughly 290 published clinical studies, a distribution moat a private-label rival cannot simply buy. The most recent quarter grew 12% organically with a 33% adjusted operating margin.
The problem is entirely the price, and the balance sheet behind it.
| SEKm | 2023 | 2024 | 2025 | Q2 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cash | 1,544 | 1,224 | 801 | 446 |
| Equity | 2,030 | 1,724 | 1,314 | — |
| Retained earnings | 841 | 491 | 123 | — |
| Dividend per share | 2.90 | 6.90 | 6.90 | 4.00 |
Dividends of roughly SEK 698m in each of 2024 and 2025 against net income near SEK 350m — about twice earnings, funded by draining the cash pile. Retained earnings are down to SEK 123m, and the 2026 dividend was cut 42%. A screen scoring this business on net cash was scoring a fortress that has largely been paid out.
Two further cautions. Return on equity rose from 18.0% to 25.3% between 2023 and 2025 while net income fell — the improvement is purely the shrinking denominator, so any ROE-driven screen reads this backwards. And cash conversion has weakened: free cash flow to EBIT has gone 0.66 → 0.71 → 0.56.
Meanwhile the shares have re-rated up, from 18.6× to 24.0× operating profit since 2022, which is the opposite of every other candidate examined. Sitting near its 200-week average means something quite different here: the average rose to meet a share price that has gone sideways for four years, rather than the price falling to the average.
A great business at a full price is not a buy. It is a watch-list entry with a number attached.
